Our 2015/16 winter shelter season is scheduled to open at Mount Si Lutheran Church the evening of November 24th! We will be at MSLC until Jan. 8. Please visit our Provide a Meal page if you're interested in serving in this way.

The Snoqualmie Valley Winter Shelter provides a warm, safe place where the homeless can be protected against the impact of sleeping in the cold, wet, and snowy conditions during the winter.  Our secondary mission is to help people move  towards stable and independent living through building relationships and connecting them to resources that could help them move forward.  During the winter months, we are open nightly from 8:30pm-7:30am (with staff on site from 8pm-8am).

There are many ways to get involved in this great mission.  From meal preparation and sharing conversations, to the donation of needed items and other resources, there's always a place for you within the Valley Renewal Center and the Snoqualmie Valley Winter Shelter.  Please access links at top of website for more information.

We are hosting a community Thanksgiving Dinner from 6-8p on Thursday, Nov. 26th in North Bend.

We have had a wonderful outpouring of food donations and volunteers for Thanksgiving.

If you are interested in serving during Christmas, please contact us to be added to our Christmas volunteers mailing list.

In the meantime, check out our Meals page for other opportunities to serve.

The Valley Renewal Center is made up of Snoqualmie Valley community members who have a passion for helping our homeless population connect with the care and services they need.  The Valley Renewal Center manages the Snoqualmie Valley Winter Shelter, which provides  a warm, safe place for up to 40 homeless men, women and families to sleep, share a meal and access much-needed resources to help move them toward a more stable lifestyle.
