The Snoqualmie Valley Winter Shelter provides a warm, safe place where the homeless can be protected against the impact of sleeping in the cold, wet, and snowy conditions during the winter.  Our secondary mission is to help people move  towards stable and independent living through building relationships and connecting them to resources that could help them move forward.  During the winter months, we are open nightly from 8:30pm-7:30am (with staff on site from 8pm-8am).

There are many ways to get involved in this great mission.  From meal preparation and sharing conversations, to the donation of needed items and other resources, there's always a place for you within the Valley Renewal Center and the Snoqualmie Valley Winter Shelter.  Please access links at top of website for more information.

Our 2015/2016 Season ended on May 1st. Thank you to Mt Si Lutheran, Snoqualmie United Methodist, and Fall

City United Methodist for opening your doors and your hearts to us.

Thank you to all who donated money and goods to support our work.

And, to the many, many volunteers who brought in dinner and breakfast, drove the van, washed dishes, moved the boxes, provided care and washed mountains of bedding - our gratitude is beyond measure.

Our staff was committed and loving, steadfast through difficult times, and the funnest bunch of people to work with.

Finally, to our guests, thank you for sharing your struggles and triumphs, big and small. The trust you place in us is a wondrous thing. Our continued wish for you is health, community, and shelter.

Blessings to you all!

The Valley Renewal Center is made up of Snoqualmie Valley community members who have a passion for helping our homeless population connect with the care and services they need.  The Valley Renewal Center manages the Snoqualmie Valley Winter Shelter, which provides  a warm, safe place for up to 40 homeless men, women and families to sleep, share a meal and access much-needed resources to help move them toward a more stable lifestyle.
